Florida sun and salt air break gelcoat down into a chalky, faded layer. Washing does not remove it. Oxidation removal takes that layer off so the color and shine underneath come back.

All reviewsThere are no words to describe the level of quality that he puts into his work. My 24ft boat has never seen cosmetic love in 15 years and the oxidation was beyond any other boat I’ve seen. I finally succumbed to letting a professional take a shot at it and boy am I pleased.
The level of detail is unreal. Despite being extremely fairly priced, he took it upon himself to remove the chalk and restore the shine on everything every square inch of the boat from the hull to behind the interior cushions. This meant removing the cushions and reinstalling them after. I even noticed that the inside of the livewell was polished to a mirror shine, not to mention the inside of the center console that was a mildew fest before I dropped it off. I have a hard time believing that other boat detailers take as much pride in their work as he does.
The whole process was as smooth as it can go and I will definitely be using him in the future.
